I don't know who would've won but i sure would've loved to see Scenario 1. That's when both guys were at their absolute peaks IMO.

:nut How so? It was 8-4 the first fight. And Hopkins was so green in 1993. RJJ didn't change his style up since 1993. He always relied on ungodly athleticism to beat his opponents which is something he had back then. Actually, his natural talents might've dipped a tad from 1993 to 2002. Hopkins is the one who seriously improved since their first fight. He became the master boxer. I think it would've been close.

Why is he a nuthugger? Just because his opinion is different from yours?

Any version of RJJ beats any version of Hopkins.

I translate this response one of two ways:

    1) You actually don't have a response in another thread, or

    2) Your 'analysis' in that other post is just the long version of the ridiculous logic you used in this post: that Hopkins will somehow magically 'exploit' some weakness in RJJ based on having an extra three rounds.

    Looks like we're done here.

That's just bollocks, but lets face it pretty much everything you post on the subject of Jones is bollocks.

Also, for every fighter that Jones 'ducked' Hopkins took on a blown up welterweight. It works both ways.

I still say Toney would own Hopkins if they ever fought, too :smoke

I seriously disagree with this statement. Firstly if Jones truly had a glass jaw Ruiz would have KOed him within the first few rounds of their fight. Secondly everyone knows that Jones was weight drained and past his prime when Traver beat him.
