Plenty of people are discrediting this fight who don't give a **** about Floyd. I had a friend over last night who rarely watches boxing but knows that Pacquiao is the man at the moment, and he wanted to know why Pacquiao was fighting some bum that didn't even try to win.

And really, WHO is saying something doesn't make it any less true. If it did then we'd have to discount the opinions of all of the Pac fans who thought it was a great fight. How many people do you think that would leave that enjoyed it?

Pac averaged something like 65 or 70 punches a round against Cotto. That's a very good pace, but he's not a Margo or a PWill who throws a hundred punches a round. He definitely takes breaks.

 

If any other boxer did to clottey what pac just did, he'd be a sensation.

You don't have to be a Floyd fan to think this fight wasn't entertaining. Being a Floyd fan doesn't help, though. But saying the former is just idiotic. Plenty of people that I were with thought the fight sucked, and they want to see Pac kill Floyd. So there you go...
