Please let us for a moment put our differences aside and take our hats off in honor of all the warriors that put their life on the line in order to entertain us.

Yes Sir, anybody who calls a boxer a "*****" or a "coward" here should get an automatic 1 month ban (unless he can prove that he is a professional boxer). My 2c.

I respect anybody with the courage to get into the ring, no matter what their record or level of ability. Also the dedication it takes to follow the life of a boxer and the sacrafices made. From the top level boxers who spend months at training camps, away from family and friends to the journeymen fighters who get up at silly o'clock in the morning to put the roadwork in before doing a full days work. Then off to the gym in the evening.
As for those who sit behind computers critising these fighters. Why don't you put on a pair of gloves and try it for yourself?

So cynical.:-( Yeah they probably do to a certain extent, you know some guys get a rush from knowing they're impressing people with all their macho bravado, dominating another person in front of a crowd of cheering onlookers and proving you're the man is still a very fulfilling feeling to some of the manlier among us. If I were a boxer that would definitely be, along with money, my driving motivation.

Boxing is the best sport, I can make a boxing an-alogy to fit any situation in life. I have seen better tribute videos though. There's a Holyfield tribute 2 part video that was so good I downloaded it, and added it to the NAS box.

Yeah actually a lot of guys do do it for almost free, in fact most boxers get paid very little, Kovalev was stealing to feed himself he was being paid so little, it called a passion one has in life. Believe me, if they could do something easier and make just as much if not more money they would, but they don't.... because they like the feeling beating someone into submission in front of a crowd of people chanting their name makes them feel.

Not everyone is that obsessed with the "bling" not everyone subscribes to the Money Mayweather model.

Most of them did it for free all the way through high school...or as far as they went in school.
