Albaquerque New Mexico is my Home town, And Johnny is one of my favs of all time. I dont care to match him H2H against the greatest lower weight champs of this time or that time, but i just want him to get the credit he deserves as i feel he is underated. Lets give Mi Vida Loca the credit he deserves!!!

Had heart, charisma, blazing handspeed, and tho he wasn't a big puncher, still was exciting to watch. His life outside the ring was something else. Wore his heart on his sleeve too. When I saw his documentary Tapia, it was heartbreaking to see a full grown man crying, still missing his mom. Tho he did live that thug life, therev were instances where he showed he was a great human being, helping an elderly man and holding off 6 guys. He's dearly missed.
