I love these secret, invisible passes of the lineal title that have been made between guys who didn't fight in the ring. You have to earn it.. that isn't something is automatically passed down to the next guy when you retire. Even if people considered Vitali the real Champ, due to his fight with Lewis, and then Lewis retiring before a proper rematch could be done... considering that Vitali was winning... nobody on this earth considered Rahman the real Champ when Vitali was forced to retire due to his injuries. At least, no humans that I know, who have a working brain.

So, Wlad can't earn this invisible title that was vacated when the person who held it retired without losing... but other fighters can have it passed to them for free, without winning a fight for it? What an impressive title it must be in your mind. It is a real honor to hold that title. The one that you don't have to fight for. Hell... if I was a heavyweight and Masaev retired right now... I could sign with Don King.. the WBC could hand me the title, and I would be lineal Champ!:happy That makes a lot of sense.

    Yep.

Vlad is the most talented heavyweight in the world today, by far.

    damn straight.

Why throw caution to the wind when you are owning the **** out of someone?

If Wlad needed to he'd of stepped up his game. he won another title and the Hopkins lovers are pissed:lol:

Yep. I don't hear them complaining about Lewis Vs. Tua or Holmes Vs. Cobb, Ali vs. etc., boxing is an art and Vlad made it look so easy tonight. I watched the fight again and I enjoyed it.

Yes. I watched the fight again, it was more impressive the second time I saw it. Vlad is very skilled, but I expected him to stop Ibragimov somewhere around the mid to late rounds, but a decision......still, he was impressive. Vlad won with the jab easily, but what if he had used his entire arsenal?
