Manny Pacquiao should have random drug testing all the way up to the fight (or whenever he agreed to with Floyd) for the Mosley fight. First it would shut up ol' Floyd Sr. once and for all, and the media for that matter. Second it would back Floyd Jr. into a corner he has never been in before. This is all if he passes, because if it came out that he tested dirty, his legacy would be done. But in all seriousness I wish he would do this to silence the boxing community on this issue and make them turn thier heads to Floyd waiting for his answer.
Stupid PR move for them if team Pacman do that. *****s here are already crying out foul when Roach was misquoted on additional drug test for Mosley. Floyd is already in the corner, so its pointless.
If he took the tests he could have Floyd, so it would be foolish for Pac to take the tests an fight Mosley. (as he wants Floyd more)
i think pac has stated that he is willing to take the test. the problem right now is floyd is on vacation and prefer to spend some time with security guards.
a trump card? who cares about trump cards? is that what a fight between the two best fighters in the world has degenerated to? looking for trump cards? seriously, screw a trump card, they need to get it on asap otherwise they're both Prima Donnas doing a disservice to the fans and the history of the sport .
Floyd is already in the corner and he is not even referring to drug testing as a reason to avoid Pac. In fact, he is not even referring to anything, not even to vacation or legal issues or "I am like Super Bowl" stuff. In fact, he just remains silent. In fact, he shits on the sport and on our heads. Heads of boxing fans and heads of his (former) fans.
What better way for Pac to shut down allegations than to take a random test for this fight. Floyd already took the tests for Mosley, so why doesn't Pac do the same? With Mosley's past, they should look for the tests. If Paquiao does this, then he deserves a lot of respect. He's making great money off of boxing and the fans now, so why not step up and do something for the game. Show that the top fighters are willing to stand up for their integrity, show that they are clean, and improve the sport. I doubt Pac will do it though, and that's pretty much the main criticism I have of him. As boxing's top p4p fighter, he needs to step up.
he doesn't need to do **** just to satisfy floyd or any of you. if the commission would change their system, fine pac should do it, but not because of allegations based from a crackhead.
Yeah the legal issue is abit of a stumbling block i think, or is it?! Would it not look better for Floyd if he had some 'work' coming up when he hits the court room, instead of just being a loud mouth millionaire doing nothing. A 'vacation' isn't hard to break, as much as it pains me, Mayweather has been the only one who's been consitant in this charade. I think him accepting Marquez's challenge was a clear indicater he only came back to fight Pac. Even tho the fight was signed in March, they wait to the day of the Pac fight to announce it, come on man, How much more obvious can you get. In Floyds head, if he couldn't get the Pac fight on his terms, he might as well go on vacation, its the only fight the makes business sense for Floyd. I believe his words were along the lines of 'When he's ready to step up an take the tests, i'm not a hard man to find' If what you say is true, an Pac is willing to take the tests, no cut off, (like Floyd said after the Mosley fight) then are you sure Arum has presented this information to Floyds people?
:-( It's just another challenge for Pacquiao. They challenged his integrity and claimed he's dirty. Real men and clean athletes don't run from challenges, bottom line. People like you can go on with the usual biased bull**** but the fact remains. They challenged Pac, and instead of him stepping up to it, he's doing anything possible to avoid tests. I will never convince the likes of you anyway, but I can't support athletes that do shady **** like Pac is doing right now. I supported him long enough, but now that he got into the big money, he doesn't give a **** about all his fans.
Sorry but Pac agreed to random blood testing up to the fight and according to his words, in between rounds. :deal
pac doesn't need these additional test to prove that he is innocent form people like you who are biased onset already. pac should just provide for what the system demands. if you have problem with the system, then you and floyd should ask the commissions and not single out a certain fighter.
that would be great but if he does that it would show he is on steroids so he wouldnt want to do that.
Fine. I believe that things will sort themselves out. I will never blindly follow anyone though. When I see something shady, I'll speak on it. I have criticised Floyd in the past too, and I won't stop criticising Pac now because that ****er is not above the sport. Fans pay their bills and they need to be held accountable.
So...he signed a contract, agreeing to that? :think Seeing is believing. Pac is also recently quoted by Amir as saying: "Amir, I will never take a drug in my life, but when [Floyd] Mayweather is demanding I take tests every day it is mental and I’m not ready for that." :huh So...you really believe that smoke Pac is blowing about agreeing to testing up to the fight, and joking about taking tests between rounds, when he has expressed such a concern about doing so, for nearly a year? If it's that easy...really, this fight would've happened in March, and the Mayweathers wouldn't have any ammunition right now, by saying Pac has STILL not agreed to undergo mutual OSDT.
