i reckon everyone just fights for astrobelts, then at the end of the year all the champions of the red, blue & green astrobelts challenge eachother & see how many astrobelts they can eat at once, the last one to make a funny face is the top dog in that division.
No offence, but your hypothetical situation is complete crap. Nonetheless I'll somewhat indulge you for a moment to ask a question. You've stated that all boxers must be signed up to an organisation, and cannot fight boxers from another organisation. Have you pondered what effect this would have on a domestic scene. Now fighters can only face a quarter of their domestic rivals (making the assumption that all 4 sanctioning bodies have an equal amount of boxers signed up), and would would be left with the WBA British, WBC British, WBO British and IBF British titles ?, underneath which we'd have the WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF English titles ? This would also mean that the 4 sanctioning bodies would need to have a presence in every boxing country in the World. Anyway, I'm interested to hear your response.
there was a time i knew all the champions in each weight division but **** got so ridiculous that i dont care no more!
It fails for manŷ reasons, one being 'at the end of a year we have a tournament' so you want 17 tournaments, each with 4 fighters which will be 3 fights per weight division. Look at the super six and ow long that took for the semis and final to take place. And you want it every year.
