Quintana will beat Williams again, though it should be at 47!
Quintana moved from 54 to 47 and just a won a belt he'll want to DEFEND.

I'm not sure about the rematch clause, i know they were discussing SSM.

yes he did offer Margarito a Rematch ..

And why is everyone acting as though Quintana is something major at 147 the man is a ham-sandwich and chip he's far from the 3 course meal you guys make him out to be.

This is the same guy that put a game effort but was blown out in four round and and almost crying at the end of round 5 , Zab did better then he did after a years layoff , Correly put up more then a game effort then this guy and so did Paul..

Good . . . I have nothing against it. But even if Williams win this time . . . he will not be the same Williams who was being overhyped before, and if he loses again . . . total end of his HYPE.

Gezzz take it easy man

Carlos was the busy fighter and was able to get under the the taller Williams punches , it far from a world class beating you guys are hyping it to be .

No doubt Williams over looked Carlos after expecting a rematch from Margarito , then a potential unification fight with Centron only to have Carlos be the guy to fight.

If a Carlos can beat William a second time Id give him prop as being legit , but until then this man is fools gold.

Yeah Carlos was able to get under the taller Williams and was abke to put pressure on him . . . and how easy was that? And you're calling the guy a ham sandwich? :rofl :rofl :rofl

I'm not saying Quintana is the man at 147 . . . but the guy definitely deserves a little respect. He is a force to be reckoned with 147. After all he is 25 and 1 with 19 KO's . . . and his only loss is to a guy named Cotto.

margarito didn't want the rematch. the pdub/quintana fight was a lot closer than everyone is making it out to be. quintana fought the fight of his life and won by a narrow margin. pdub was off no doubt....i believe he over trained...but in the rematch...he's going to win.

Not suprising to hear the backlash against CQ.:nono

He pissed the majority off but not conforming to their pick:yep

He's always been an excellent boxer, has a pedigree, and CLEANLY AND CLEARLY Busted up a MW fighting at WW. Yes, he quit against Cotto and got beat. Last Saturday's fight was the first step on the path to redemption.

Like it or not? He's on the WW Championship Scene:good

Oh yes Quintana was back pedalling but was he was leaving punches that hits . . . reason why Williams wasn't able to dictate the tempo of the fight. Effective foot movements and accurate clean punches . . . yeah that's what a ham sandwhich is capable of doing.

i'm not taking anything from quintana....i just believe he fought the fight of his life...and like another poster said...he didn't have much room for improvement. he landed his best shots...and pdub still kept coming. i've seen enough of pdub to know that he wasn't himself in that fight. part of it was quintanas doing...but the majority of it was pdubs flatness. in a rematch...i expect pdub to pick up his performance a few notches. when that happens...i see quintana losing. either way....i just want to see the rematch. i knew quintana would be a tough fight for williams....i just didn't think he would win.

Quintana may have written the book on how to beat Williams...I've always noticed that Williams feet never seem to be in sync with the rest of him...He always seems too close or too far out for him to be as effective as he should be....For the rematch
Quintana UD again....He's proven he's more that just another notch on Cottos belt mates
