A win over whom would add more to Dawson's legacy - Tarver or Diaconu?

Impossible to know right now, until Diaconu compete against A-fighters.

At this moment it's Tarver, no question, but obviously history writes itself at a slower pace.

Why is it impossible to know right now? We've already seen Diaconu go hell for leather against Henry and we know Tarver's limitations. Should be enough to say who performs at a higher level.

Tarver. He is the bigger name, holds titles and has wins against better opposition.

Dawson has questionmarks hanging over his chin and decision-making. Of course, the defence could be better, but he'd still quite inexperienced.

Diaconu doesn't have many strengths but he has the strengths required to take advantage of Dawson's weaknesses, unless Dawson peforms very well. Tarver doesn't.

Whilst Tarver is better than Diaconu, Diaconu's style is more dangerous to Dawson. Hence, a win over a harder style = more legacy points.

I'm picking Diaconu because of styles.

What are the chances of a present day Tarver at his best beating a Dawson at his best? Bet they're not as high as the chance of a Diaconu at his best beating Dawson at his best...or is it?:think

Well...if most people think Tarver, Dawson should drop the belt and fight Tarver, I guess. Tarver is certainly a huge name, he comes off a win, he has a great resume...Dawson wouldn't make as much money but it'd be worth it...

Tarver. Again, it proves a young champion has what it takes to beat a good solid pro and fellow champion.

In saying that, there is NO reason why Dawson shouldn't fight both men soon enough.

Hmmm...true...most of the time, a former great champ in great shape, motivated to do his best, is more of a challenge than a B- level prime, unbeaten fighter...:think
