A up and coming young bowe instead of meeting Tony tubbs meets the sanders of the klitschko ko. Bowe struggled with tubbs but sanders is a different case. He won't be a boxing enigma for bowe to solve but he carrys a fair whack in his gloves, so could he wreck young riddick s title aspirations?

I got Bowe. Always liked Bowe especially when he listened to Futch and came in top shape.
Remember Futch constanly saying Bowe had the talent to be one of the all time greats? But like so many befor and after he was just too f#cking lazy to reach his full potential.
    Ill take Bowe here.

I liked bowe as well, he was like a breath of fresh air when he came along. It just seemed to go all wrong way to soon. In this match I can see bowe in the hardest fight of his career up to then. I can see sanders actually catching bowe and hurting him early in the fight. I think he has to literally fight for his career in this. But he ll do it, coming back and stopping sanders in the fifth.

Yea Bowe had so many tools. The first and only? Really big man who could fight in a phone booth. Just really blew it in the big picture. If things went rite him and Lewis should have been in a trilogy.
BTW I thought he beat Holy in the 2nd fight

A Lewis_bowe match up was just so ready to happen in the early 90 s. Everybody wanted to see it. It was going to be the ali v frazier of that decade.! If only things hadnt panned out the way they did. But yeah could have been a series of fights between em. Chuck in holyfield against Lewis early on and its perfect.

PS. I had the second bout as a draw and fully expected that to be announced. It was a close fight though tbh.

I was never a big fan of Bowe when he was on his way up. He talked way too much, and didn't have the intelligence or wit to pull off the Ali schtick he tried so desperately to do. But, Bowe had too many tools for Sanders. Eventually he would catch Sanders and stop him. A prime Corrie Sanders got iced by a totally overweight Nate Tubbs, and they matched him softly from then on. I may not have liked Riddick Bowe, but, he was not a soft touch for ANY fighter. Bowe KO Sanders 5-6.

sanders only chance is to stop him early, and no one is stopping big daddy early.
too much heart and too good of a chin.

rahman stopped him in 7, bowe stops him in 4-5 rounds maybe even earlier.
