Fake a retirement which results in avoiding the best fighters in his division at their very best, physically and mentally. Watch while the best in your division compete in war after war. Then suddenly come back out of your hiatus to challenge the last men standing. The perfect blueprint for self preservation. Then claim you're the best of all time. Your fans will just ignore it ever happened and crown you the GOAT.

Ward, but I would have more respect for it if he went UP in weight and took Dawson's belt. The way he's going about , you just don't see it much. Doesn't command as much respect. Dawson will be emaciated.

You implied Floyd retired rather than face the best fighters..

Who are these phantom "best" fighters???

I take it you didn't follow boxing back then. Here's a hint. They're in the Welterweight division and they all fought each other.

    No NO NO!

Take my boy Johnriel Casimero. He is 22 he has fought in South Africa, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Argentina where the now famous riot took place. The kid hasn't fought the cream of the creme. But at 22 I think he can still get better, and you never know we might be looking at a multiple weight world champion, this kid got potential.
