I saw the young Graziano in his prime, but i don't recall any rumors of any fight with the WW Ray Robinson...Graziano was an animal 1945-48. Crude but powerful. When he hooked up with Ray Robinson in 1952 Rocky was twice as slow as when he was in his prime. Robinson was also past his peak but his ring intelligence carried him through...
I give the pre Zale 154 pound Graziano, a punchers chance against the 147 pound Robinson. But my pick is Robby against any 147 pound fighter ever...

i agree with this entire post and rocky was a demon in his prime. however, i still can't imagine anyone knocking robinson out...i know it's possible but i can't see it

N, By all intents and purposes Ray Robinson was kod once, by Artie Levine in 1946. I will not go into the details once more, but Robinson was on the floor for 17 or so seconds by the" biased " referee, allowing for Robby to clear his dazed head...This is a fact...And Artie Levine was a good but not great fighter who I saw several times...So N, even the great Sugar Ray could be sent to LaLa land, if tagged properly...
