Let's say a version of 19 years old young tyson 10-0 vs Robert colay.
Vs gerry ****ey in his absolute peak in 1982 imagine in the last minute larry holmes cant fight for any problem and they decide to make a rutine fight and the young mike is the Substitute.what happens

Young Tyson had the physical talent and skills to pull it off but it's impossible to say whether he would have been psychologically ready and had the self-confidence to make such a leap, especially if he ate some hard punches early on.

at 19 he was mionths away from winning a world title from Trev.

Berbie was better than Coo.nman, who shouldn't have been in the ring with larry.

theres nothing that's not been read, Gerry was a hyejob who shouldn't have been given a title shot, Tyson was 12 months from a title shot and a few months from contenders who would handle Coo.nster.

Well if you did read everything your post was a complete ball of ****... It is irrelevant if tyson fought 20 minutes later for a world belt.between his fight 10 and berbick he got a lo of experience against jesse ferguson,James tillis,
Mitch green, reggie gross, marvis frazier,José ribalta..HE IMPROVED A LOT IN EXPERIENCE AND SKILL. For example when he was 10-0 he never before have fought for 10 complete rounds. Stop talking nonsenses

That's actually a really interesting question. I think in most scenarios Tyson would be too much, but in that particular one it is hard to know how a head case like Tyson would have handled a jump like that.

I'm not a huge ****ey defender, but I think in 1981/1982 he was a damned good Heavyweight (good, not great) and would have given Tyson a lot of issues.

Tyson can definitely win this. Just because he wasn't pushed to the extreme in those first 10 bouts doesn't mean he can't come through with a victory against Coo-ney. But Gerry is a lot better than most people give him credit for. Big and powerful with a helluva left hook. The man was dangerous. Who knows, it might be too early for Mike but I think he had the will to pull it off. Bad intentions.

Tyson was sparring 15 rounds with seasoned pro's and title contenders before he even signed pro forms. He was so different. He blows ****ey out, even as a novice. That's how different he is.

Hell i dont know.......i think some of u are ****tttttting out your cornflakes before u even ate them.

****ey was a creature of confidence .hed be confident vs a tyson 10-0 .he would figure im the no1 old man holmes was scared.i think ****ey would go out and land devastating left hooks early and push tyson back .tysin would fight back and hurt ****ey and suddenly it wiuld be a titanic brawl but in the 2nd ****ey wiuld stun mike on the ropes and unload left hook after left hook ,even pushing the ref aside when he tries to stop it.....to be honest i think he may just beat young mike to death there norton style as untasteful as it sounds ****ey was unpleasent enough to do that

confidence is one thing....but Gerry wasn't even a real contender in his prime. he got a free pass for being white, sad to say.

hes getting hyped, and getting wiped.
