Everyone is going to get exposed at least once in this tournament by your standards. When the best fighters fight each other styles are very important and some of them are going to lose badly. That doesn't mean that they are weak fighters it means that the competition is tough. Props for Direll and it's a shame that he got KO in victory. I hope his career wont be affected by that

I don'T want to take anything away from Abraham because he's skilled..just not to the level many here believed.

I was never on board with this guy because of his level of previous competition and overall style. He relies way too much on power and he's not active enough in any of his fights.

Against the Gevors and Ayalas of this world it's OK, but against the best out there, he will always coast to a UD loss in most cases, unless he lands a turnaround devastating punch in the later rounds.... You can't continuously expect that against the best talents...

How ****ing stupid are you ? AA owned Dirrel in the 10 and 11 round.

    Watch : [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uF6pH7GS2g[/ame]

AA would have stopped that coward had he not faked the slip so AA can DQ himself.

The better talents in the division will always make his low output style become his downfall. He's good, just not as good as many would want him to be. He does many good things just no more no less...

He relies way too much on power. Against the best, it'll more often than not be his downfall.

Do we really have to speak about Taylor ? A fighter with practically zero confidence left prior to fighting Abraham... Re-watch the Taylor in the Winky Wright fight and then look at the difference with Abraham.

I just disagree with you based off of following his career. Sorry. And why should Taylor act the same way with Wright as he should with Abraham? Yes, he was different. Very different men, very different approaches. Taylor was what? No longer talented either? No longer a fine athlete? And do all fighters with a low output style get outclassed and outworked by the best fighters in their division? I don't think so. How many of the better fighters of this division are as athletic as Dirrell? I can think of one and that's all I would say. Ward. One dominant loss does not make a world champion a gatekeeper. If it did, let Kessler come in on this action.

Abraham looked for one punch because he never believed he could get the decision in Michigan and didn't care about winning rounds, but winning by KO. After getting his ass kicked but finally taking the fight to Dirrell (knockdown, cutting distance, stamina advantage), how stupid it was from him to pull that ****! Arthur come on!!!!!

Anyway, the only one exposed is Andre Dirrell and how good he is - for those who counted him out after the Froch fight.

I've been on here for quite a few months and will never get that everytime a fighter gets a first loss they are "exposed". There is always someone that can beat someone.

I don't think he was exposed, but he certainly needs to work on his style. He needs to be more active against skilled boxers like the Dirrells, Wards, and Kesslers. You can get away with knocking out guys like Miranda and Taylor, but the skilled opponents, you have to be more diverse.

People before this fight gave Dirrell no shot at winning. They called him names made fun of him and were ready to crown King Aurthur as the SMW ruler but Dirrell had other plans. He knew he held the stylistic advantage in this fight and took well advantage of it. Great performance by Dirrell that was taken away from him by despicable foul by AA.

Clearly ahead on the scorecards, yes.

He was starting to get through and landed more frequently, and has the power to come up with a win against anyone in the late rounds.
Dont know if saying he resorted to what he knows best is a nice thing to say, fighters like Pacquiao, Barrera and RJJ have all threw punches against a downed opponent.

But its like always, you guys either jump on one or the other ship, I think the severity of the punch was there, but I dont think Arthur is intentionally evil, and I dont think he could've hold back that punch.

HOFers like Ingemar Johansson, Jack Dempsey and Mike Tyson have all punched opponents while they're "down", they do what they have to do in order to win, and its not like that is a bad thing. Arthur was behind and was looking for the KO, ofcourse he was desperate and threw that type of punch, wouldn't you?!

I just hope Dirrell can recuperate and come back from this, and we'll see them meet again soon.

Yes, AA won the 10th and that fall should have been ruled a KD. But he was losing the 11th before his cheap shot, and you can clearly see Dirrell slips in the corner. You're just another biased Euro who can't get the **** over it.

The point I was making is that Dirrell exposed him!!!

If Dirrell would have gotten KO'd with 11 seconds left in the 12th round everyone would be raving on how great AA is!!!

The same people who are talking about me not giving Dirrell credit for the win are the same people who wanted/thought AA to win!!!

I've said on prior post that Dirrell would beat AA and possibly be the won who could win this tournament!!
