What a surprise. This defeat was just waiting to happen with Abraham. There is no way someone can continue undefeated when his main tactic is to absorb a large amount of punches and hope to land one big bomb late on. The way Abraham fights means he's always sailing close to the edge of the waterfall. It's a pretty bad situation when you are always going into the final three rounds needing a KO to win - that won't always happen. Dirrell boxed the perfect fight and I don't think AA would have lucked out and struck gold. On another note, did anyone else notice AA was limping early on? Looked like he had a bad knee.
I had Dirrell ahead by four points. Abraham could still score a knockout, a draw or a split decison with one or two more knockdowns. I which he wouldn't have thrown the punch when Dirrell went down. We could've seen how it played out. If Dirrell coul.d've lasted the distance or would've been stopped any way.
