See Scar, this is what bothers me. I learn A LOT from your posts most of the time, and just about always read what you have to say. BUT this right here:blood, if I'm to believe anything you've ever written on here, you've got to come back and tell me this is a got damned joke. AA's face was raw hamburger, due to a punch....NOT a head butt (for which E.M. was rightfully deducted 2 points), but then a 10 minute break in the action...the fight was RULED OVER...Until AA's team (including the ref, ringside doctors, judges, and you name it) was made to understand that stopping the fight (thanks to one black man (not sure if he was IBF or what, but he argued the case quite well)) would mean TKO 4 for Miranda. Where in the hell is this OK? Anytime..Anywhere else in the world that was a Miranda win. And even if, it sure as hell is not like Pantera came away from that fiasco as "damaged goods" for Pavlik to then beat up on? Puff-puff, give Scar....puff-puff, give...Bogart ass.:yep
At the end of the day, pipe - Miranda still got tagged plenty that night. Regardless of the periphery.
True, IB, people get punched in boxing.:think Scar's post though, was wrong and IMO, he knows it.:yep
I know he got his jaw broken from a punch, I never said otherwise. The headbutts and lowblows were all over the place after it and you can't deny it, that includes elbows, punches to the back of the head and rabbit punches. Miranda was using dirty tactics all night. You can't totally ignore what Abraham did that night. He continued fighting with a broken jaw despite what you think, if they stopped it and Miranda got a TKO4 who would have thought Abraham could continue?. The fight went on and Abraham won it, you can't deny that despite the broken jaw and excessive blood loss Abraham was able to rock/hurt Miranda LATE in the fight numerous times. If anything it looked like Miranda was in danger late than Abraham and no it had nothing to do with the referee or German judges.
that's the point i tried to make but wrench had to be a wiseacre. King Arthur really was the first to ever inflict serious damage Edison. Of course Pavlik then inflicted even more...until being one-upped him in the Abraham-Miranda II.
