AA should be ashame for saying this because he wanted to quit himself. The only reason he didn't quit was because someone told him not to. It was more like,"Fool, you better get your azz back in there and win this fight because I have a large bet on you. I don't care if have to die to do it". See I don't understand German but whoever was saying that to AA AA was afraid of him. I'm not disagreeing with AA that he wanted to quit because his jaw was broken. Offcouse you have to quit if you know your jaw is broken, you just don't fight anymore because you can do further damage to it. AA just shouldn't have said that to Peters because he know he himself wanted to quit also. If it was up to him I know he would have quit.

    arthur abraham:

1.wanted out of the first fight with miranda
2.postponed fight with marquez at the last minute
3.has a brother who kicked miranda when he was down and then kicked the doctor trying to administer to miranda... was subsequently arrested and had to be bailed out by their promoter

now he's talking about honor? he needs an ass kicking from somebody and soon and i dont care who it comes from, marquez (highly doubtful), pavlik (i dunno), kessler, whoever

IN SHAPE? He was fat as a pig.

His corner says what they are paid to say. Duva's hype machine had Peter in great shape, ready to go 200 rounds if necessary, and able to KTFO actual buildings with one punch. Peter is rumored to be uncooperative and lazy in training. It shows.

No, he didn't. He quit on his stool with 1/3 of the fight left to go. He had been roughed up, but was not out on his feet, nor was he obviously injured, nor did he have a huge cut or anything. HE SIMPLY GAVE UP, despite his own claims (placed in his imbecilic brain by Duva) that he has more power than any other fighter.

When Wlad faced Peter, Wlad was coming off a bad stretch, and Peter was the be-all to end-all according to a lot of boxing pundits and fans alike. Wlad beat him despite going down three times. Now after seeing Peter face a few more decent fighters and not knock everyone out with his supposed two-fisted extreme power, and having his own confidence grow as he has put together a string of wins, Wlad will have no fear of Peter whatsoever. Peter will take another beating if he ever faces Wlad again, and he won't hardly lay a glove on Wladimir. Wlad's brother just laid the blueprint for beating that limited moron Peter, and Wlad can certainly execute, especially with Steward in his corner.

Peter is done as a contender. He will be a gate-keeper at best. HE SHOWED THAT HE LACKS HEART AND QUIT ON HIS STOOL DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE COULD HAVE EASILY CONTINUED. Nobody will take him seriously anymore, and promoters won't cough up the big bucks to put him in with a Klitschko again.

There's no proof Abraham wanted to quit at all.

Abraham DID continue with a broken jaw that was bleeding profusely for 7 rounds and STILL won!!!

Abraham had a rematch with Miranda above his natural weight and destroyed Miranda in 4.

Both of those are facts. END of DISCUSSION.

Even my mom who doesn't watch boxing knows AA wanted out of tht fight. No shame because he had a broken jaw.

He did continued but he was force too, he didn't want to continue.

The rematch is the rematch, it has nothing to do with AA wanting to quit.

    Good point,mate!

    AA didnt quit.Sam Peter did!

Besides it was a world title fight. As far as I can remember Timo Hoffman was in Sam Peter's corner. If I were Peter I would ask myself why the hell could that limited German behemoth go the full route with Vitaly but I am not in a world title fight.

He didnt quit and he didnt try to quit.

He just didnt get it what the ref was trying to tell him. As soon as AA understood what was going on he made it clear that he wanted to continue fighting.
He didnt utter a single word which can be interepreted in the way that he had the intention to quit.

Anyway! He didnt quit- Sam Peter did.

I have a feeling had Abraham lost the fight you would not be calling the German Boxing Commission corrupt.

Abraham did not quit and he won the fight. Then he brutally beat Glass Jaw Miranda in the rematch to prove the first fight was no fluke.

Sam Peter quit on his stool because he was going to meet the same fate Miranda did. Knocked Out.

Not much more or less than other boxing countries. (see for example DHL-Sturm, Foreman-Schulz) ;)

Then do the complete analysis and tell the people from wich country the are and how many of... lets say 20 corrupt fights through the world they have seen. Statistics are not that easy ;)

(nearly) No one in germany likes Ahmet Öhner as an Promoter. He was sacked of the BDB (Bund deutscher Berufsboxer) for his behavior and isn´t allowed to enter most boxing arenas.
