Im hoping and praying that Kessler pitches a shut out against Froch... but regardless of the results of that fight, Froch will have to fight AA next. Who Wins? I am trying to stay non biased here because i do hate Froch..... but i literally think AA will give him a possible career ending beat down... the styles match up just horribly. Froch is a tough *******, but AA's punches do serious, physical, long lasting damage. Froch will probably take about ten rounds of absolutely brutal punishment before being stopped or KOed.... anyone see this playing out differently? also i would not mind hearing your picks for the kessler fights as well. :thumbsup
Froch making it ten rounds would surprise me. Of course, Abraham does start slow and would likely cover up and let Froch flail at him for at least the first five or so. Somewhere in the 7-9 range is my expectation. Really the first couple of big shots Abraham lands should create opportunities to finish, and he won't hesitate.
That's my prediction too. Though Froch's defense is so bad I wouldn't be surprised if AA saw an early opening and ended it before the 6th round.
I think Frochs "Iron" chin is overrated he was dropped and stunned by Jermain Taylor and was stunned a couple of times by Dirrell as well Andre and JT are not power punchers at all,and the fact is they both manage to hurt Froch Look for Athur Abraham to be the first man to ever stop Carl Froch
Abraham will absolutely annihilate Froch. He has the defense to not get hit by the slow fisted so called "cobra", and the chin to take anything that slips through. He has the skill to outbox him, and the power to knock him out. It will be an absolutely horrific massacre of proportions not witnessed since the holocaust.
Froch wont be able to hit AA... he will get countered visciously with left hooks and over hand rights... it will be a sad day in London. I just hope Kessler bombs him out first and then Ko's Allan Green;s ***** ass.
No way this goes 5 rounds. Froch is wide open, doesn't stay behind a jab and lunges in. Abraham will clean his clock inside 2 rounds.
Froch is so easy to hit that an opponent would have to practice missing in order to connect under 40%. Sauerland continued to match AA very carefully when he set this tournament up. First Taylor's corpse, then a green prospect, and then Carl The Clusmy. AA by KO anytime after the 4th round.
Direll faked an injury to get the fight in his home town, with his referee and judges. Dirrell said that he did not feel confident fighting in California. Why was that? He plans to cheat?
I think his chin is on the decline... but considering he uses it as his main mode of defence, it's still very good.
