AA vs Lacy

Lacy gets KTFO. The Lacy that beat Pemberton is the same Lacy that got taken to school by Calzaghe. There's no difference on Lacy's side.

lacy's workrate and power would bring him a knockout between 7-9.aa far too lazy.

 

Arthur Abraham could fight any version of Jeff Lacy two hours after the Andre Dirrell fight and still win!!!!

 

Pemberton was shot and was never a world class fighter to begin with. Lacy has virtually no quality(world class) wins on his record. Abraham would have destroyed him. AA hook gets there first and Lacy is in all sorts of trouble early. Just my 2 cents of course.

 

Lacy is pretty much a "never was" fighter. If there wasn't 30 sanctioning bodies this would have been found out before he had a belt around his waist. Joe's fans will back him all the way because even though Lacy was a hump he is still one of the only quality wins on slappy Joe's questionable resume.

Sounds more like you're jumping on an oppurtunity to praise Calzaghe rather than rationally break down a Lacy/Abraham fight.

 

Abraham by murder inside 6 rounds! I doubt "that" Lacy knew what he was up against before he tasted Abrahams power! A bit the same story with Calzaghe just with an another kind of fighter and punishment..

 

Wow -- people still have insane ideas about Abraham. His best win was a very questionable decision over Miranda. The guy just isn't all that good.

 

Thinking back to how Lacy was then and looking so good in beating Reid and Pemberton, compared to AA in a slow fight against Taylor coming off a KO loss.
At the time of these fights I think most people wouldve picked Lacy by KO. Most people are thinking of how Lacy has become, but at that time I think he would have soundly beaten AA widely on points

 

Agreed, not too shabby. Lacy wasn't a moving punching bag till after the shoulder surgery.
