I thought they challenged Sturm???:hey :huh

Is it possible that while waiting for an answer, they (team AA) signed for another fight? Well as far as I know that is not possible. They at least have to wait for a confirmation from team Sturm saying they reject the fight.

Or does this automatically mean Sturm has turned to offer down? There is no (official) news about that whatsoever.

Call it unimportant and/or boring, I'm very curious about these strange recent developments.

    Give me your thoughts.

Sturm's team didn't give an answer till last weekend, according to SE.

Anyway, Sturm will have a tough task ahead when facing Sylvester.

We know Miranda's people have been working on trying to get a fight for a while. I think Abraham still had plans of fighting in the states if Sturm didn't work out to help set up a Pavlik match. (Sturm could have given him the other two belts which would have been good enough)

I guess $2mill in Sturm's hand wasn't enough for what he felt he would lose if he lost the belt. Since AA offered to double his last pay day, I think that tells us what Sturm thought of his chances.

Sadly, you are totally right in saying this. Whats more a victory over his next foe Sylvester is not sure bet.
I guess that he just knows that he is no match for the top guns in his weight division.
