Abraham is a bull of a man, I'd love it if he let his hands go and caught ward late on. He deserves to be knocked out cold for making everyone come to his hometown and headbutting them all.
AA only has one hope imo,he needs to let it all hang out early, and try to get some respect off Ward.If he stands off doing the "turtle" and waiting for an opening ,he'll be soundly beaten. Thing that worries me most about AA's chance's are his state of mind,Dirrell's speed and movement frustrated AA,and he seemed mentally beaten, and Froch beat the fight and spirit out of him. Lets hope AA brings something else to the table tonight, and makes a fight of it,with his punch power,he's never completely out of the fight, even if he's well behind on the cards. I really don't want to sit up till 5am to watch a borefest like last week.
Froch won and Dirrell was winning by keeping Abraham on the end of their punches. You need power to do that though. Footwork could also accomplish it I suppose but you don't want to be fighting Abraham on the back foot.
Dirrell had speed and reach > Abraham Froch had strength and reach > Abraham Ward has those advantages but not like Dirrell and Froch. This fight will be alot tougher than AA vs Froch and Dirrell vs AA. Abraham would put Ward on ***** street.
No need for the eurobum stuff, do you think alike of the likes of Nino Benvenuti? Andre Ward has a clear cut road to beating Abraham, this fight shouldn't have been in California however. But that's the way she goes and thats the way Abraham have to go, so at least be a little encouraging towards the man who is fighting Andre in CALI.
abraham looked terrible and even slower (if that's [possible) in his last fight. He looks to be on a precipitous drop into bolivion.
Im looking foreward to this fight too, but mostly because i dont have anything else to do this saturday. Have a bad feeling it will just be a boring snoozefest with Ward winning a wide decision.. But damn, i still hope AA will pull an upset, that would really make my day
