I see AA chances @168 as this:

    vs. Bute: 50:50
    vs. Kessler:35:65
    vs. Froch: 65:35
    vs. Taylor: 70:30

And i would make him a favorit against both, Pavlik and Sturm. But unfortunately it looks like we get robbed seeing those fights.

Mahir Oral, ranked #29, made it into the 10th round. LuJaun Simon, ranked #43 at the time, finished on his feet, and won 4-5 rounds in the process. Hamdan, Gardner, Eastman, Taylor, Jantuah, Miranda, Gevor, and Ayala also pushed Arbraham 10 or more rounds.

I'm reading on here that Oral made AA look clumsy and amateurish, and we all saw the feather fisted LuJaun Simon penetrate Arthur's guard and snap his head back with jabs.

Base on reasonably careful research, and close scrutiny of several Abraham fights, it's clear to me that Abraham's power, and his defense are vastly over rated. When guys like Shannon Taylor, LuJaun Simon, and Evlin Ayala push you past 10 rounds, your offense simply cannot be very good. When feather fisted no-hopers snap your head back with jabs repeatedly, you're defense ain't that great either.

Kessler would humiliate and demolish Abraham. For a long time I predicted that Pavlik would stop Arthur inside 8 rounds. The more I study the situation, the more tempted I am to change that to 5 rounds. We'll see how Sturm/Gevor goes. If Sturm wins big, I'll have to think about dropping Arthur from #2 to #3. His title reign is nothing more than a carefully crafted marketing gimmick.

Must have been the first AA fight you have watched, boxeo!

AA usually tends to give away the early rounds of a fight against the mobile type of opponent. Go and buy some tapes of AA vs Gainer, vs Hamder,vs Ayala,vs Elcott,vs..................................... .

AA usually tends to knock these kind of opponents out in the later rounds though.:D

A lot of boxers can outbox him for some rounds, but the true problem is not to get knocked out in the later rounds.

Oral didn't make AA look amateurish at all. That is complete and utter garbage. He had a few swings and misses...he always does. Apart from that AA was quite precise, when he did open up he invariably hit him and did serious damage. I lost count of the amount of times Oral hit the canvas.

I'm looking forward to his moving up. There are a lot of good fights for him. I don't like his chances too much against Kessler or Bute, they are punchers chances to me when the attributes are matched up. He has a real shot at Froch though, and Taylor late on in the fight.

You just don't want to put AA in with a good boxer with good movement and defence.

Box Rec ratings aren't great, but be serious. What kind of a "champion" intentionally targets guys like Simon and Oral?

Oral took 4 rounds on 2 score cards in Arthur's front yard. Haven't seen it yet. Probably won't get to until it shows up on You Tube.

Actually,to choose Oral as an opponent was a truly good business move by AA's camp.
Oral is a known fighter on German soil+he put on a good show of boxing today.
AA's popularity in Germany will skyrocket after today's entertaining encounter with Oral.
