    without an opponent 6 weeks out, Andre Ward!

    This isn't a Roc Nation thing either. This guy has been doing this for years. I guess negotiations are tough for tune up fights, and simple for big fights though, right? Cuz the Kovalev fight is a sure thing for November, right? I mean, it's signed, right? Even without an official venue or date.

    Ward appears to be difficult to negotiate with. Pac was, Floyd was, Canelo and Cotto are... because they were the money fighters. Ward is VASTLY overpaid for the audience he brings in. ( If we based pay on talent it's a differernt story)

    Some peoples dislike for Ward is not because he is black... It's because of his attitude. It's always everybody else's fault but his... even if a court of law decides MULTIPLE times that he is wrong.

    The P4P #27 is considered by many guys here #1. The best ever, biggest talent and stuff .. I am sure he does not need a tune up for Kovalev then.

    I'm certainly not debating his talent. Dude is crazy skilled. His attitude is holding back his career.

    He could fight Golovkin. They both are open at the moment and Abel Sanchez loves Andre Ward in his mouth. He says his name 10 times before breakfast. He says it makes his teeth whiter.

    well, this is just downright weird. Roc nation isn't strong enough a player yet to pull rabbits out of hats and push losers to top spots (Areolla with wbc anyone? thank you Haymon), so they are having a hard time finding a C level fighter that is ranked as a B+ level fighter.

    of course nobody wants to admit that part of the problem might be hbos shrinking budget now do they? tell u what? lets see them approve dominic wade for andre ward? would they? nope they only do that for their "special cases"

    hbo agreed to a deal to get ward to sign for a kovalev fight...now they must hold up their end of the bargain...hbo must finish paying ward that "lil g protection" money
