Great point SFS...totally agree. Did you know that the AABL will have some boxers trialling for Commonwealth Games selection this year? Will be interesting to see the outcome or if it evens happens. A positive step in the right direction though.

Micheal Perry is one who I think may go well. 17 years of age. Trained by Angelo Hyder so he has plenty of good boxers around him.

No didnt know at all till i read your other post....

How does the trial work?? do the ABL boys fight against the ABA boys or is it completelyseperate??? Im guess that they eventually would have to fight each other...

Also i was lookin at your videos on youtube.. got any videos of fightsfrom the 2007 ABL titles in Parkes?

Gilly, please pardon my sarcasm, but.. with all eliminations of A vs B vs A vs B.. will the final outcome of determined winners 'A vs B round robinesque meetings', be confined to NSW's??

Not sure how it works, heard conflicting story,s but I think the aabl boys can trial for their respective states Winners will go on to national trials.

I have copy of all the fights from 2007....will get around to them soon....I have a lot of footage to come...stay tuned...lol

    these boys are all ABA

Names and stuff based on youtube video discriptions appologies if im wrong

Dylan Perkins (AIS) (Blue) VS Jason Cooper (Red) - 2009

    Round 1

    Round 4

    Anthony Little VS Mark Previnsky

    Paul Flemming VS Luke Jackson

Dylan Perkins is still fighting amauer and I know know about James Cooper, Mark Previnsky. Also I know Paul Flemming is now fighting pro but i think the fights may be a couple years old but i think they are a good example of ABA boys at the top level.

Also watchinn these videos and the other's posted in this thread have realy reminded me how much i enjoy amatuer boxing!!!! the sport does not get anywhere near enough attention that it deserves from the public!! Some amatuer bouts I've seen have been much more excitin then watchin some of the mis matches seen much to often in pro cards!!

Not an ABA VS ABL thing but depending on when each fight was Jason has either improved or gotten worse.... my guess is improved...

    looks much sharper against Dylan.

Let me now when the 2007 title fights are up mate!!!
