I doubt Leonard was gonna make 8 million, although he surely would've commanded the large share of the purse.

Leonard ****ed Duran the same way the first time, getting the large share of the purse, and Duran was a long established champ who sold tickets well and was on the cover of SI quite a bit. Pryor was a champ for merely a few months when he was offered a Leonard fight. Of course Ray was gonna demand the large portion, he was the star and an ******* diva. Basically, guys like Duran and Kalule were willing to get the short end of the stick to get a chance at facing Leonard, and still making more money than they normally would, and Pryor was not.

Pryor also had an offer to fight Duran, but Pryor turned that down due to managerial issues.

The Hawk deserves it. You just need to watch him fighting and KFO Alexis Arguello ( RIP). He had a tremendous KO percentage and a very good career at that weight class. It's not the fact that he beat the guys that others beat twice. These guys are ATG p4pers, not ATG 140pounders, there's a difference. Mayweather fought who at 140? DeMarcus Chop Chop Corley, Arturo Thunder Gatti, Henry Bruseles, Phillip NDou? Hoya stopped JCC in 4 which is better than all of the above mentioned Mayweather's wins but there's very few else to mention, James Leija, who else? Roy didn't even compete at that weight so...

the hawk dont derserve ****...when fighters avoided floyd he chased them after the ndo fight////didnt we get DLH, Mosley now Cotto...Mayweather had what 3 fights at 140 and still beats Pryor at 140....Beat better fighters than pryor below 140 and higher so.....your point...how many champs did Pryor beat like 5-6 Mayweather has already beat 16 in 42 fights

Some do overrate Pryor but your underrating him. Ricky Hatton really? Hatton did beat Kostya Tsyzu but Tsyzu was even less game than Arguello was in the first Pryor fight.
