I'm a huge Hawk fan, but i'm going to go against the consensus and pick Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao has bigger power than Arguello at 140, which would make Pryor think twice about trying to swarm Pacquiao and his handspeed would give Aaron problems. I think Pac would win a close SD.

Would still back Pryor. All it would mean at 142 pounds is that he does not need to make 140 pounds.

I got Pryor. Pac keeps it close, but the Hawk brings a bit too much pressure for Manny to overcome. Pryor by clear points verdict.

Pryor's ability to step of the gas and box gives him an edge in this match-up.

Pacquiao's feet are quick enough to cut out unusual angles, but with Aaron's rubbery movement he is more likely to receive punches in ones and twos rather than Manny who gets flustered easier and is prone to eat threes and fours.

The Hatton-esque blow Manny would need to severe the Hawks wings is unlikely to detonate while Aaron is bouncing about and putting together those spectacular rallies.

There aren't many who could out-do Pacquiao in a macho-contest, but Pryor is one of them, and again, his ability to smoothly skirt around the ring and pop the jab would give him the necessary flexibility to regain his bearings in tough spots.

In what Sky Sports Ian Darke would describe as a 'Barn-Burner' Manny would sustain too much facial damage en route to being pulled out in the 13th or 14th round.

Aaron Pryor was a bad man. He could also box when he wanted to. Look at the difference in the Panama Lewis trained version and the Manny Steward trained version. There were differences and Pryor could sit back and box with some movement when he wanted to and he could also be a slugger who would swarm your ass and knock you out.

Pryor is being underrated here just like he was when he was fighting. Aaron Pryor was a bad ass. Black bottle or not. :deal

Oh damn great match-up!! I would have to go with Pryor though, if he could handle Arguello's heavy-artillery (who I believe punched a lot harder then Pacquiao) I believe "The Hawk" would have stalked and smirked his way right through Manny. Pryor by KO 14!

Pryor. He was magnificent. I love Pacquioa. But Pryor was so unbelieveable at that weight and lightweight. On of the great amatuers in American history and an unbelievable pro. I think Manny is great, but primetime Pryor kos him. Bizarre angles. Wicked, explosive power. Great speed. Pryor I think inside of 7. Bradley would go out as fast as Blackmore, who was a good pro going into that fight. Go to the gyms in that era and ask guys like Stewart and Dundee and now Roach, rog Maywether, Shields, McGirt. They all will tell you how good Pryor was before his self-imolation. WHAT TIME IS IT?

There is now way you can compare the styles of Pryor and Tony. Not even similar. Most people haven't seen all Pryor's career. His style was completely unique
