This would have been some fight...One of the few matchups that I think Floyd doesnt have his usual advantages. Pretty much the same both their natural weight. Pryors workrate and speed and just plain tenacity could give Floyd Trouble. I think its a great matchup. Id take Pryor though UD possible KO though its hard to say since seing Floyd Ko is hard to concieve

Why do you think Brooklyn?..is it just because of styles..Frankly PBF is regarded as arguably a greater fighter than Pryor already

Aaron Pryor by late stoppage. Floyd would get overwhelmed and frustrated with a knock out crazed indestructible Pryor in front of him for 12.

Floyd admits that Aaron Pryor is one of the people that would give him a toguht fight...

Styles make fights. Pryor can keep up with Floyds movement and effectively stay in his face.

I'll take Pryor mid rounds KO. Pryor has the right type of constant pressure that will trouble Floyd and also has the power to put him away and finish him.

I also think Pryor wins every round.

Floyd's accomplishments have already surpassed Aaron's, but head to head, I think Aaron's ferocity, pressure, and workrate would be too much. He would rough Floyd up...

Now that the first few posts have made it the consensus that Pryor not only wins, but apparently does it easilly, there's not really much point to add anything.

I'd favour Pryor 60-65%, because I agree that this is a fight based on styles. But Pryor winning every round and stopping Floyd mid-way?

    Peace :hi:

I agree with Sweet Pea, and starting writing my post at the same time as his.

Pryor was damned near superman at 140. B/c he knocked everybody the **** out and he was not beaten. The way he fought would give any style fighter problems he was not one dimensional in the slightest and could go on mad crazy attack or box whenever he felt like it and his stamina was unreal and he was fast of hands and feet and could cut off the ring and was as tenacious as they come. I think head to head its hard to pick a guy at 140 that beats him. I think Sugar Ray would agree.

I'm not making Pryor out to be a superman. Floyd has a good chin, but IMO, not a great one and he's going to eat more shots here than he ever did due to styles. If Castillo could land on Floyd well enough, then Pryor is going to really be landing here during the in fighting.

We also have evidence that Floyd was stunned by both Corley and Judah, two lesser punchers than Pryor.

I think Pryor would take him out, it's my personal view, it's not a big deal. Pryor can be overrated at times, but he has this one in the bag due to styles and intangibles.

At 140, I would pick Duran and Whitaker to beat him. I think he beats Chavez, Benitez, Loi, Locche, Tszyu, and Mayweather.
