Pryor just about couldnt be destroyed or "murdered" by anyone at 140...not at his weight. I still think Williams would beat him clearly in the end though.
I think both fighters are capable of stopping the other, or at least hurting the other multiple times. At their respective best though, I think Williams would be the one doing the hurting more often than not against the more open, reckless Pryor. Williams by TKO in the 9th.
Maybe my original post came across as a little too emphatic, but if Arguello could land some solid shots against Pryor, Williams could too and then some......don't get me wrong, I like Pryor and his style, and he would definitely have his moments (paricularly early), but sooner or later he would get a little wild and Williams would catch him.
Pryor takes a big punch well. I think the way to stop (possibly) him would be a gruelling Chavez type body attack over a decent amount of time or batter him and make him pay for his mistakes consistently the way i see a Duran doing. I don't think Ike can quite do either. Pryor UD15
Ike did have a great jab and handspeed and was very accurate also he has a very good body attack so I think he would slow down Pryor and catch him coming in on many occasions. I think it will be a back and forth fight until Ike attacks start to take the toll after 9/10 and then in the 13th round he puts Aaron away.
It would be thrilling contest during the early rounds and Pryor might have an edge there. But he is human and would have to slow down, even if by a wee bit. When this happens, the more precise skills of Ike Williams would come to the fore for a late round stoppage or Ud victory.
