Very tough one. It's a siberian death match. I'll go for Pryor decision, but ask me tomorrow and it'll be a different answer.

At 140? Slight edge to Pryor.

Who the hell knows though. What a fight it would be.

Both were better at 135 (Chavez definitely; Pryor arguably).

At 135 Chavez wins; at 140 I say it is Hawk Time, just.

Pryer, I know he's got a great record, but Chavez never impressed me, he looks quite ordinary.

    Defence: Chavez
    Speed: Pryor
    Timing: Chavez
    Workrate: Pryor
    Bodypunching: Chavez
    Strength: Pryor
    Power: Even

I'd give a slight edge to Chavez based on him boxing the smarter fight

Pryor, in what would most likely be one of the best fights of all-time.

I'll go with The Hawk. He takes JC's best and out works and out speeds him ala Meldick Taylor. As good as he was, Meldrick was a poor mans Pryor.

Chavez was an attrition fighter, good body work and work rate and solid....Pryor very explosive and sporadic, had good speed and power....prime to prime close but I lean with Julio
