Pryor gets dropped early, and comes on strong as the fight goes on, and stops Tszyu late, or wins a UD. Tszyu gets underrated on this board, he was indeed an excellent fighter, but I think he loses here. I often criticize Pryor (in response to those who overrate him), but he was a hell of a fighter, and I also think in addition to his quality as a fighter, his style also helps him against Tszyu.
I think KT get's a little overrated, actually. He was very talented, and a great puncher but he has a lot of stylistic disadvantages.
It's all relative, I guess, with the overrated and underrated thing. As a whole, I think more people underrate than overrate him. He actually had good handspeed when he was younger, was accurate, knew how to catch southpaws, knew when to throw, had a nice heavy jab. But Pryor wouldn't give him much time and space to set up shop, which Tszyu likes. Pryor had a very good chin. He tended to get overanxious and dropped early, but took them well after that. It would take a lot of shots from Tszyu to stop Pryor, and more of them at range so Tszyu could get full extension on. I don't think Tszyu would land enough of them.
pryor probably wins. But that doesnt mean I still dont think Pryor is overrated like hell. He wouldnt have beaten SRL or Hearns at 147. And I know he beat Hearns when Hearns was 17 years old, that doesnt mean ****.
He would absolutely overwhelm KT and stop him within 10. And I don't think KT is underrated I just think he wouldn't be able to time them right hands nor land enough to win this fight.
