Were you watching boxing at all when Cool Vince beat Tszyu?

I can see why many might outright pick Pryor. And that was sort of my first thought. But looking back a little more, I can see Tszyu winning a tough fought UD.

Thing about Pryor is, he was an aggressive boxer. And while that allowed him to beat a great like Alexis Areguello (WITH The help of his brown bottle BTW....lets not over look that black eye of the sport), his reseme aside from Arguello was pretty thin. And yes, he chased SRL. But when offered a career high, it was Pryor who declined.

Pryor was putt on his butt several times. And though he had excellent recoup capabilities, that still means he was caught cleanly. And unfortunately, his agression led to his less than stellar defense and lack of disclipline.

Now to Tszyu. He was a superb boxer. And one thing he could do well was box from a controlled distance and time his punches. Not to mention, he could punch. He fought smart. Sure, he lost to Cool Vince. But Phillips was no pushover either. It's not like he lost to some has been or journeyman. I don't expect some newbies or johnny-come-lately boxreccers to know much about Phillips.

In this matchup, Pryor's aggressiveness could very wel have been his downfall. But Tszyu would have to have been careful and fight s perfect game plan.

Who did KT fight who had a style similar/like Pryor? Cool Vince fought NOTHING like The Hawk BTW.

Hatton Vince was aggressive as well. Hawk is better than both. He's rightfully seen as the favorite in this match up why would it be any different?

Dude...that's Tszyu at the end of his career. And NO ONE would confuse Hatton and HAwk's style at all. But I guess all Judah had to do was fight in a very aggressive mannerm, and he beats Tszyu?

I think it is fair to ask if Pryor will be allowed to do a pound of cocaine before the fight.

Flew out with my wife for my parents 70th birthday party over the weekend, was able to stay and watch the game with my dad Sunday night before coming back home Monday. The quality time was nice... bittersweet as always, but nice.

Zab is mentally weak and not durable. The Hawk was nothing like Zab and fights nothing like him. There's a reason why people are agreeing with me saying the hawk is a bad styles match up for tszyu.

And yet, saying "Bad styles" and not even trying to attempt to discuss the style matchup is a BS post. Noobs just say "Styles make fights" w/o addressing the style is weak. Or we have the boxreccers who just look at resumes and make their pick from that. THOSE are who are mostly agreeing with you.

Look at my post # 77. THAT at least discusses styles. Do you disagree with all that? NOw I wouldn't even count our Pryor. But at least I addressed the issue.

A former undisputed a multiple time world champion who dropped Floyd Mayweather is mentally weak? Lol that’ll do me.

Dropped pbf??? when did that happen? With that said stylistically Zab is a hard match up for pbf because he could beat him to the punch and counter him. Yes did you see his act in the pbf fight? He was getting busted up was ready to go so he intentionally fouled pbf low.
