Both guys get hit a bunch.

Pryor is the last one left standing.

Pryor, bigger and stronger aswel as having better all round boxing ability.

I see 8 great rounds before Mancini is stopped.

Pryor by late TKO, probably cuts. I think Mancini would make this a great fight for a while but he'd get hit too much and probably cut/closed eyes.

Pryor by KO. The always tough Mancini lands his fair share of good shots though.

When Mancini won his title, the light hitting Art Frias briefly stunned him with a hook, knocking Ray backwards. Pryor's firepower is usually overshadowed by his whirlwind style, but he could also bang pretty well. This would be a mismatch.

Agreed, I don't see Mancini making it out of the early rounds, and certianly not having the skill to contend with Prior's punching ability. Ray absorbs too much punishment to early in this one.

This is exactly what I was thinking, especially the closed eyes. Manicini's toughness could carry him to the 7th or 8th.

Mancini woulda fought bravely, but Pryor woulda been entirely too much for him. Pryor TKO 9.

Pryor was knocked down by Akio Kameda and several others. Mancini could hit harder than Kameda. So.............Pryor still wins this but just making a point. Mancini had an iron chin and will. Anybody remember his fights with Arguello, Kim, Bramble (twice), Ramirez. I agree that Pryor beats him, but the fact that he was briefly stunned by Art Frias doesn't single him out as having a bad chin.

Totally agree. Mancini had some real heart and was not weak chinned.

Pryor got floored by being caught off-balance. I'm not questioning Ray's chin or will, but if Arguello could take him out, then Pryor certainly had the firepower and will to break him down.
