OK, so how are you assuming his power would increase as he went up when you just agreed with me? Leonard took shots from a much harder hitter not only in a literal sense, but P4P, all night long and you think a natural LW is KO'ing him? You overrate the absolute dog**** out of Pryor. Get a grip on reality for ****'s sake.
Pryor never fought as fast a fighter or as hard a puncher as Leonard. Arguello was a big puncher but a blown up Featherweight. Leonard would hit Pryor hard and hurt him and he was a great finisher. TKO 11.
If a much slower Arguello could bang Pryor on the chin, immagine what Leonard could do. Both great fighter's but Leonard would take him,may even stop him.
There's a reason Pryor followed in the footsteps of other great 140 pounders who knew better than to fight at welterweight. By never fighting there, now we can have a good number of people thinking he actually would've done something great there. Had he actually moved up and fought Leonard, it'd have been clear that he was one of those guys who wasn't built for that move up in weight. Sugar Ray would've taken him apart.
SRL would dominate. It's as simple as that. Aaron was a great fighter, but he has nothing that would make me believe he beats Leonard at his peak. Probably goes to a decision, something like 10-5 or 11-4. SRL is bigger, he's faster, he hits harder, just better overall, as well as being the smarter fighter.
Pryor had one of the longest KO streaks of all time. Leonard proved he could take great shots. Both had great stamina, but I believe if they fought Pryor would take a UD based on workrate. he threw non-stop punches and would take all of Leonard's shots and keep coming forward.
Depends. Does Pryor get to mainline Cocaine between rounds? If not, SRL all the way. Without the coke Arguello ko's him in the first fight imho, that uppercut Arguello would have felled a heavyweight.
