When most people talk about great fights of the 80s they talk about Duran/Leonard Hearns/leonard Hagler/Hearns Arguello/Pryor
all of those were great fights but my personal favorite was Chacon/LimonII awesome fight probably top 3 of alll time in my opinion i think they have it on you tube check it out. I got the tape and saw it when it was on TV so im not sure if its on you tube but i would think it is

I'd agree that Tommy Hearns would never be able to fight Pryor in the pros at Jr.WW. Tommy Hearns had the same build and height as todays Paul Williams. He dried his body to make WW over and over, but he eventually gave up and started packing on the weight all the way to Cruizer.

Tommy and Pryor were both great, reguardless of the "Magic Water bottle" Pryor drank from when losing to Alexis Arguello.

:thumbsup An outstanding Post! Hearns is my all-time favourite fighter!! Thanks mate!! Hearns fighting at 132?? I used to think he looked string-like at 147!! Pryor was also a great fighter and I always enjoyed watching "The Hawk" at work!

Lenzo mate, Pryor beat Arguello in that incredible and now somewhat infamous fight by 14th round tko. He also beat Alexis by 10th round ko when they next fought. Both were great fighters!

Bobby Chacon? GREAT FIGHTER! And as tough as any! A funny guy to! Didn't he come out with the classic line (Following a fight with Bazooka limon, I don't know which one) "Great fight, I wish I could have watched it"!! My favourite boxing quote of all-time!!

Chacon-Limon 4 and Chacon-Edwards 2 are two of the best fights of the 80s.

The final round comeback in Vazquez-Marquez 3 was similar to that of Chacon-Limon 4, with KDs at the end of the fighting being the difference.

Yey it was the 4th one i forgot how many times they had fought. Chacon had an amazing ability to comeback in fights. I always thought that the fight with Mancini was stopped to fast, and Chacon would probably have come back in that fight. He was on the slide any ways.
I always enjoy meeting Chacon he really loves his fans and always greets you with a hug, really good guy its unfortunate that he has dementia now.

    good stuff

Hearns looks a little bit sloppy to say the least, but you can see the potential.

Damn pressure busts pipes! Hawk Time!

Hearns looks like his muscles haven't caught up with his skeleton. So green.
