i think pryor was a great fighter and he is one of my favourites but i give him more of a chance against leonard .hearns would of stopped the hawk around the 8th of a total war but also think pryor may of hurt the hitman along the way

I think a professional fight between these guys later one would have benefitted Hearns more since he was the bigger man later and learned how to punch. I do not know how the weight would have ever worked out for these two guys to fight. Many people mention the Arguello fight to show that Pryor would have been aggressive with Hearns, but Hearns and Arguello were different fighters and styles would not have been the same. Pryor would have had to move up and fight Hearns and not have a guy moving up like Arguello did. Do you really think had Pryor been the smaller guy and moved up to fight an Arguello who weighed 130 that he would have stopped him in 14 and 10 rounds? I don't think so. I think Arguello stops Pryor mid rounds.

Tommy changed quite a bit before he made it to the pros, Pryor was just a stronger, more stable version of this. Tommys was still looping his right, catching Pryor around the back of the head a lot. With the mature pro version of Tommy, his jab woulda kept him off and steer him into his refined murderous straight right, ending the night early.
    In theory at least.
