15 rounds for the Junior welterweight belt.
Who and why, in this barnburner...
Will anyone volunteer for the punch stat count?

    No need to count .
    Pryor destroys him in 3.
Bummy Davis stopped him in one.

I give Tony a much better chance. A better chance of making it to the 6th round that is. Pryor was too strong for Canzoneri.

I'll give you an example. When Diego Corrales fought Angel Manfredy, Corrales clearly won by an early round TKO. Corrales had little problem with Manfredy, yet that fight let me know that Floyd Mayweather Jr. would have no problem with Diego. Manfredy had the right fight plan against Diego. Diego was too strong for it to work.

Canzonri may show the right fight plan against Pryor, but I don't think it would work.

I think Canzoneri would be too good, too seasoned, too experienced for Pryor.

Canzoneri counterpunches his head off and wins a lopsided decision.

Please get your facts correct. Boxing is more than a statistic. It is true Bummy Davis who I saw several times, kod Tony Canzoneri in 1939, when a shot 31 year old Canzy in his 175th fight took the match for money. Tony was only a shell of himself as Ali was a shell of himself against Berbick and Holmes. Canzoneri at his
best was a lightweight, good enough to beat a great welterweight
Billy Petrolle, and he would have surely licked my neighborhood 'hero Bummy Davis ,both at their peaks.
