Aaron Pryor's 1983 "retirement"

    Not sure about Leonard but he definitely beat Hearns.

    He outclassed a teenager who was a stick and move boxer in the amateurs with 0 power. In the pros Hearns would have taken his head off inside 6 rounds.
    Leonard would also have stopped Pryor. They sparred a bunch and the first time each recorded a knock down against the other.
    After that first sparring session Leonard owned Pryor in sparring and the story I was told was that Leonard went to Pryors hometown to spar him and dominated him and people from the gym were coming up to him thanking him because supposedly alot of people could not stand Pryor.

    Unfortunately he might as well have stayed retired because he clearly wasn't nearly as effective when he returned against Furlano and then Hinton.

    Those two would have been knocked out by prime Pryor

    He burned out fast but the kos of Cervantes and Arguello cemented a great legacy - although we all know there was controversy in the first Arguello fight

    I wouldn't go that far. He would have had to go up to 147 and win some important fights there
