We will just disagree on this one even though I am a fan of pryor and not a big fan of ray :D. as a matter of fact i enjoyed hearns and hagler more. with that being said i dont think ray went out of his way to avoid pryor. he had bigger fish to fry against fighters that were alot more high profile than aaron and made a shitload more money. it didnt make much sense to fight a risky guy like pryor.

To answer your question, Pryor over PBF due to sheer hate, tenacity and volume, over Money's punches, which would have none to little effect on Pryor

Leonard was a WW. If Pryor had gone up to 147 Leonard (or Mayweather) would have beat his ass. Pryor's power was at 140.

Didn't Floyd say in an interview on Sky Sports a few months back that a prime Pryor would be the one guy he would love to face at 140? The trash talking between Pryor and Roger would be epic.

Pryor nuthugging here is ridiculous. In his absolute prime, he goes life and death with Arguello who's had like 80 fights and is fighting above his best weight. This makes him an H2H beast. His other best win is a past it Cervantes when Cervantes was more drugged up than Pryor himself ever was.

    No, it's not "well documented".

Okay, it's "well documented" by people who watch too much ****ing Legendary Nights, which despite being a well-made documentary, has polluted the minds of boxing fans with too many myths.

Leonard offered Pryor a fight, but Pryor wasn't happy with half a million. You can argue that Leonard low-balled Pryor as Pryor ended up making a lot more later against Arguello (less popular than Leonard), but $500,000 was still a lot more than Pryor was making at the time.

Pryor's a tough style matchup for Mayweather (140 being a better matchup). Mayweather will counter effectively and avoid a lot of shots, but not all of them, and I can see him dropping a close decision. A Mayweather decision win wouldn't surprise me either though.

I think that you can call that "scared".
Leanard wanted no part of Pryor.

Pryor turned down the fight. He wanted more money.

If Leonard was so scared he wouldn't have offered him half a million in the first place.

    ****ing Legendary Nights myths.

Anyone who thinks Leonard ran scared of any fighter is a joke. Look at his resume, then go **** yourself.

the hawk would force floyd to go toe to toe and beat him like castillo did the first time. it would be close, but the hawk wins at 140
