No, but notice you left out the Sturm part? Abraham doesn't have enough star power in Germany to shame Sturm into a match that SHOULD be held first so let's just forget it?
Abraham offered the fight to Sturm. Sturm didn't take it. I have a hard time believing Sturm fights anyone of note any time soon. Then again that seems to be the modus operandi for the MW division these days from all champs.
Sturm and/or his management is scared to fight AA - so what? I don't consider Sturm as better or equal skilled compared to Pavlik. The conclusion is that I want to see the 2 best fighters in the middleweight division and in my opinion these 2 are Pavlik and Abraham. Simple as that...
Though, he has good star power boxing-wise in Germany but declining an offer of about $3 million is called ducking and therefore not worth to talk about anytime soon... Abraham himself said in one of his latest interviews that he already forgot about fighting "the yellowbelly"...ain't no way Sturm will except the fight and there isn't no more money available to up the offer...
sturm is taking the safe route to becoming a multi millionaire. since he had big trouble with the castillejos of the world he is stepping down a class below and fighting them until he retires. the german public really doesn't care, they never know the other fighter anyway and still show up in huge numbers. sturm still makes about a million per fight every five months and is in no risk of losing his contract, so this will go on forever.
Yeah, and Pav's last opponent...he at one time was knocked out by Jontuah in half a round. So what is the moral to the two stories told by Brad and Nallege? Simon and AA have never tasted defeat, and that Brad is rooting for Simon lol.
lol, AA management is worried for his well-being tomorrow night and also fear him to lose in an upset due to AA having lost about 17.5 lbs over the last 20 days... ...for the bett0rs: maybe you can work something out of this info...
He fought Darnell Boone to a draw on ESPN..... I vaguely remember that fight.... I think i remember like 3 seconds of that fight.... I'm usually up on all the philly fighters... he's one of the only ones that i cant fully remember.... He's unbeaten Philly fighter fought a good majority of his career above 160... All I can say is that it'll be a physical fight....
So it seems like his management was right - who did bet on AA via decision and made some serious money of it?
