But does anyone here think this would be a good/worthwhile fight? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/more_sport/boxing/article7089432.ece
When people whinge about Froch and give it all this 'He's riding Calzaghe's tails' they should look at Harrison to see someone riding another mans success.
If (and the odds on all this coming off would be HUGE) Haye beat the Klitschkos at the same time as Harrison beats Sprott, Dimitrenko and maybe another top 20 fighter it could be a pretty big fight. I doubt anyone sees that happening though :yep
Yes a long shot indeed, but I'd love to see it happen. An all-British world title HW clash? ****ing brilliant.:thumbsup
Heh, that would be pretty cool actually. When on earth was the last one? Hide-Bentt for the WBO in '95? Or if you're counting real titles , Lewis-Bruno in '93? Too long.
I'm gonna do this, im gonna do that, im gonna fight him. Its been nearly a decade of the same old shite. Even he must be ****ing bored of it by now!
They'd hype the **** out of this and make a shed load. If Aud can string some wins together pretty damn quick I think this is doable.
Audley does himself no favours. There comes a point where you simply have to admit to your own mistakes and move forward but Audley seems unable to do that. It's always somebody elses fault.
Just to show how little the public know about boxing, my mates housemates was talking about great sportsman and utteered the line 'like messi in football or audley harrison in boxing'. Even my mate who knows next to sod all found that amusing.
