Yeh but thats not really his "walk around weight" where he is semi fit.. thats him blowing out ricky fatton style.

mikey is such a good all round boxer. so no shame in losing to him

if broner is a healthy 140 then mikey will have his hands full

I'd be shocked if Broner beats Garcia. Garcia is just a much better all round fighter. Surprised people still hype Broner; he was lucky to get given the win against Granados, Ponce beat him, Malignaggi could have gone either way, Fernando Quintero fight was close and both Maidana and Porter spanked his arse easy. Garcia is the best boxer he has faced. Broner is going to get systematically beaten up quite bad in this fight quite. Then hopefully the hype goes to a fighter that deserves it cos Broner doesn't.

I've said before that a dedicated AB gives trouble to anyone from 140-147. But I think his best days are behind him and at his best form today, he loses to MG. A great fight if this was the AB before he left 135.

 

Just saw Broner is 5/2 to beat Miguel, was hoping he would be a bit longer but I still may bet at those odds.
I think everybody is too quick to write AB off, of course he brings a lot of these doubts on himself with his behaviour in the past but the guy does have skills and Mikey Garcia is moving up in weight for this one so there are no guarantees his power translates to 140, especially against Broner who has proven to boast a solid chin as well as legitimate toughness. Garcia should be just as wary of Broner's power as vice-versa.

 

He can walk around at 180 and still make 140. Don't forget, he gets fat.

 

Is the Broner hype train really starting up again? This is ridiculous. Mikey Garcia is not Gavin Rees, people. Levels exist in boxing. Broner will be getting a complete and total beatdown.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Broner wins. Hopefully he trains 100%.

I don't think so on that Robert Easter comment. Easter is way more trouble than Broner. Broner can't out box Mikey. He can give him trouble in spots but I think that Mikey just out classes him. Easter on the other hand boxes better than Broner and with his height and reach, he can box with Mikey. He also brings power to the table. Mikey would be hard pressed to beat Easter.

If I recall correctly Broner was much more impressive than Mikey at the lower weights. Wasn't he like 26-0 24 Ko's at 135 and under? 3 titles in 3 different weight classes at the age of 23? Mikey is older than Broner right?

What has Mikey done that Broner hasn't? Who has faced the better fighters? Who has Mikey faced that is better than Broner?

I'm really trying figure out what level you think Mikey is on, cause there is absolutely nothing tangible/factual that leads me to the conclusion you have reached.

 

Based on what exactly? lol. Easter is not better at anything than Broner.
