Not everything. Broner is far faster than him. Mikey is quite slow, which is why I'd pick Lomachenko to pick him apart and school him.

I think that he is fundamentally better than Broner. I think that he has a better punch selection and he fights better than Broner inside and out. He just hasn't gotten the exposure that Broner has gotten.

THe problem is that "a dedicated Broner" lives on Unicorn Island, which is ruled by "a fit and focussed Kevin Mitchell", and peopled by the likes of "the Amir Khan that was ahead on points until he got KOd".

yeah, but you dont do fast, you are fast. mikey has amazing timing that will use broners speed against him. he also has amazing instincts and focus, he knows where your head is going to be in the next half second, and can change trajectory halfway into a punch, if your head should move. he is going to make broner look ordinary with simple one-two combos. "broner is shot" will be the kindest thing being said about broner after the fight.
he is too strong for lomachenko, and mikey is good enough to make it a war before he allows himself to get outboxed... just like salido.

I agree that Mikey is better than Broner, especially this crackhead broner. This fight is kind of a circus act, though I don't blame Mikey for taking it;.

As for the Salidio comparison, Mikey fights nothing like Salido. Go watch his fight against Burgos. He won the fight clearly, but he looked ordinary and could not cut the ring off well. Mikey isn't the type to just start fighting on the inside and throw low blows etc, and he wouldn't come in the fight overweight. Loma wins by schooling at 135.

mikeys never had to fight like salido, because he is too good, but if he felt loma was outboxing him, im sure he has the knowledge to use his strength and power and make it rough like salido did. i know you figure loma has improved alot since salido, but mikey is better in all departments than salido ever was, and lomas improvement isnt that monumental.
mikey is doing to people what broner used to do to the same group, but mikey is doing it with more obvious skill and power.

Not true at all. You can say the same thing about GRJ and Walters. They do everything better than Salido. Except being a veteran at low blowing and getting away with it which I doubt Mikey has the capability of doing at that level.

walters and grj are not in the same league as mikey, in skill or size.

I doubt it, but it's boxing; anything can happen. Should be fun. I'll be rooting for Mikey, but best of luck to both men.

This is a big fight, and is easily the toughest fights of both careers, but I think mikey us just too sharp, and as much as Broner makes mistakes, I think Garcia will make him pay. I don't see a KO, but I do see mikey winning a comfortable UD.

Regarding Easter, Other than his height and length, which he doesn't even take advantage of that well, I don't see anything about him that stands out.* His power is decent but nothing close to Garcia level, I see Mikey cutting the ring and walking Easter down in a routine KO victory.
Broner on the other hand, can at least put punches together and has the skills to get to Mikey as well as the toughness/chin to weather the storm that comes back. AB has his own weaknesses of course but I make him a live dog whereas Easter vs Garcia is lamb to the slaughter.

Here's the key to all that, Nobody is calling out Easter. He is fighting at 135. That right there speaks volumes to what he is all about in that square circle.

AB will spark Garcia out cold with the first solid right or left hand he lands.

    100% guaranteed.

I'll take a lifetime ban bet on that with anyone on here who's picking Garcia if that one ever gets made.

In fact, let's put some money on the table if you're so confident of your boy winning.

Oops.. my bad. I thought you were talking about Beterbiev vs Garcia.

I am not saying the guy is a talentless fraud, I just don't see anything special about him other than his massive frame. If he develops a better jab and implemented a busier offence then I could see a dangerous fighter with huge potential. I could be wrong, I have not seen tons of his fights and I am often wrong when it comes to gauging talent, time will tell I suppose. (I though Fonfara was a live dog vs Adonis, for a recent example, thankfully I didn't bet:D)
You make a fair point about him not being hunted by the others at 135, if that is indeed the case.
