AB signs 5 fight, 50 million deal with TMT

I don't get it, as in my view either way they're going to lose big money on that deal. If they put him in with guys he can beat, ticketsales and tv audiences won't be enough, and if they put him in eith name fighters he'll lose a couple more times and the later fight will lose sales on him being relatively irrelevant.

Pushovers and a big PPV fight he would certainly lose at the end maybe, but that would probably lose money as well.

 

I think Floyd has a very soft spot for Broner.

It's probably charity.

 

I think all these 18 million watches and 50 million deals are nonsense. No one with the right number of chromosomes is paying broner 10 million a fight.
I think floyd might actually be going broke or tmt cant attract talent and he has had to do these stunts to brainwash the simpletons

 

Even more. After a couple of fights (especially after a loss) Broner can have a nervous breakdown, will say something like "F**k Floyd it's ova".

This deal is complete bull****, imho. Floyd might be extravagant and insecure but he's not stupid.

 

Or let's look at this from other TMT boxers' perspective. They should be like "what?? how about us!?"

 

I call bull**** on this. Give it a year or 2 and Broner will be taking the Mayweathers to their 2nd home, i mean court.

Those numbers make no sense.

Broner has never even made 5 million for a fight, and now hes pretty much damaged goods.

They would pay Broner 10m a fight. If Broner sold 350k PPV every time out.

 

This might have to do with Mayweather trying to show Eddie Hearn something.. Like to prove a point. Hearn is more of a businessman than Floyd and would offer Broner what he is really worth. Floyd spends too much money. Many fighters have earned millions and ended up broke.. Guys like Hearns and Duran who made millions don't have any of that anymore. Although Hearns and Duran were generous.. I am not sure how Floyd is with his money. But an 18 million dollar watch. That just makes me want to get drunk thinking about it. It is just ridiculous. But if he can afford it that is great. I would think building homeless shelters and helping people would be money better spent.
