Andre Berto and Adrien Berto were both pegged to be future superstars w/ very high ceilings. Both have been exposed badly and continue to look like dung. So who wins this?

These guys aren't bums or anything, the expectations for them were just too high. That's because of the hype, not them. They're average.

Berto was one of those guys I didn't care for until he started losing. In his losses, he showed some admirable heart and grit. He was never really to into himself and proclaiming to be the best of any division. He has talent, it was just never nurtured properly. I think with a different management and promotional team, and world class trainer, he could have went further in his career and made a better name for himself.

The Ponce fight I can see why you would say that, but Paulie? If you think Paulie won you truly dont know **** about boxing. Broner landed more, and with way more effective shots. Paulie was missing all night. Easy win for Broner. If you throw hundreds of more shots than your opponent and still get outlanded you know you've lost.

While I felt Broner clearly won, I think the compubox was off. I don't believe landed more than Paulie.

idk man, thought Paulie was hitting shoulders and gloves all day, but I'd have to rewatch it. Broner was tagging Paulie at will though, it seemed like every shot he threw landed.

Definitely. No robbery there IMO. Fight was close due to Paulie's high activity, and Broner struggles with that because he was (is?) always trying to be flashy. My opinion at least.

Although berto was hyped to ****, he would beat the hell out of the much more hyped Broner.
