That has to be him away now to 140, he'd be a nice addition up there not too many of his type of fighter up there but makes for some great fights there. Did I read Urango was making a come back? Wouldn't mind watching them two fight (Just checked coming back at the end of April might be a Welterweight though)

 

Against Murray it looked like he really tried to lose the weight, he looked really ill. Not so much this time.

If Rios signs another fight at 135 I will literally do nothing, but I will lay into him on this forum.

 

The fight goes ahead. Rios just can't win the title, and I imagine he will have to pay a fine to Abril. He has to move up for his own safety

 

I saw his corpse at the weigh in, looked like he was a cancer patient, it affected him in the ring too. I've been saying since before then that he can't do 135, so have a lot of other people. What's his game? :huh

Didn't they say he got someone in to help him make weight. I think that would be useless anyway coming from Garcia's gym when have you ever seen one of there fighters look like Rios at a weigh in. Hope they go ahead and Abril gets a pay day and his name out there. You never know he might even cause an upset.

Garcia's developing a bit of a pattern for this. Margarito at 150, Rios at 135 twice now, he wants to get Pavlik back to 160.

 

If every punch counts from every judge, then a countback will be the same score.

If a punch has to register with 3 of the 5 judges , then the countback will revert to every punch from every judge scoring. At least that is what i understood the computer scoring to be.

 

How did Sturm perform last night?

 

very well. Looked quicker and 'up for it'. Really punched through rather than at the target and after a very poor 2nd round outclassed Zbik.

 

It used to be that a punch had to register with 3 of the 5 judges, now, for each round, 3 of the 5 judges scores are counted and averaged for each round. The countback is that you take the total points from the individual judges
