Abass Baraou vs. Sam Eggington 12 Rounds @ Light Middleweight

 

I really like Sam, but I'm fully expecting Baraou to do a demolition job on him, and KO him in 6.

Early on, it's a feel out, both men trying to establish their jabs. Sam the more active of the two. Although most of his shots are to the arms. Sam gets in a few hooks to the head. Abass backs him to the ropes, working the body. Sam fires back. Sam outworked him, but it got closer late.

Still trading jabs, Sam's is stiffer. Abass giving him a bit more lateral movement, landing more counters. Sam working the body, Abass one twos up top. Sam overreaches, Abass counters with a long right. Vicious one two jacks the jaw of Sam. Abass pinned on the ropes, he counters explosively off of them. Abass jabbing much more now.

Abass countering the jab with vicious one twos, he's backing Sam to the ropes and unloading in spurts. Sam lands a few hooks and uppercut, Abass counters with some brutal hooks to the head. Sam flurries to the head, shoe shining though. Hellacious straight right knocks Sam's gumshield out. Abass landing rights and uppercuts. At range dancing around, jolting him with one twos, then digging to the body.
