    Sam a bit more aggressive early, backs Abass to the ropes, Abass spins off of them with ease. Abass backs him into the corner, lands a vicious right, jars his head back. Sam wilting in the corner. Abass landing thudding head shots. Sam fighting his heart out, Abass lands a counter, Sam goes limp, and almost goes down. Somehow remains on his feet. Left hook buckles Sam, almost goes down again. More vicious hooks to the head raining down from Abass, several ansty uppercuts.

    Abass out, jabbing well. Sam trying to keep him off of him. Abass lands a big right. Abass backs him to the ropes again, Sam spins off of them. Sam holds. Abass smacks him with a one two, Sam soska it up. Abass backs him to the ropes again. Sam fighting him off, but with no success. Now resorts to holding. Abass outworking him. But Sam still trying to press forward. Abass cracks him with a clean right, backs him to the ropes, Abass batters him to the bell.

    I'm not sure if Eggington ever landed a punch that truly affected Baraou.

    8-4 Baraou; I love Eggington but the amount of damage he takes is disconcerting. For his own good I hope he doesn't take too many fights after this.

    A decent enough scrap overall, but eggs past his best and lacked power tonight. And Baraou switched on and off, nearly took whole rounds out at times.
