Since leaving Sky everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. There is no correlation and I was not implying that.

Nothing beats Frank Smith's expression as Usyk is announced the winner over ReMatchroom's golden goose.

Both a good point and a good idea.

He's a lot better than you're giving credit for. He got caught pretty much out of the blue by a guy he was otherwise controlling, who was determined and believed in his experience and his ability to connect with a telling punch sooner or later. Martinez was bound to land here and there at points (it's a fight, after all, you don't get a 100% perfect defensive display), but nobody was expectant of him turning the tide so much as hopeful.

Ideally, Barry would've had a busier career up to this point and would've had a world title shot a few years sooner. Nobody wanted to touch him, so he trod water for a bunch of years and did well to stay as motivated and undeterred as he did.

He has the mentality to come back and put his nose to the grindstone again. But if he decides 126 is too much of a squeeze, 130 will be a long, difficult road.

And then there was Joshua looking at the referee with utter disbelief after the scorecards were announced, even though he only won three rounds tops and arguably lost the final round 10-8.

I see so the same results could have happened anyway. Has everything gone wrong? The barometer of success should be are fans watching the events or not.

UFC doesn't have this issue when the more popular fighters lose as all what matters is if the fights are good or not.

The fans aren't watching. Nobody in the UK wants to pay a subscription for a sporting platform that doesn't have a single Premier league game on it. That's a fact right there.

Eddie can put a brave face on it but he knows it's been a disaster and no amount of ads will change that. I'd be surprised if they're getting even half the viewers they did on Sky.

The best UK fights have both been held by Sky. AJ-Usyk and Eubank-Williams are the best fights held in the UK this year and by a long way. Neither were/are on DAZN.

Well it's safe to say he isn't Navarette level, no way, look he won a version of the world title, I have to respect it but if on your first defence, FIRST DEFENCE, you get KTFO in your home town by a voluntary challenger who has seen much better days and was only brought over here to get bashed up then I have to question just how good you really are..

We saw Warrington and Galahad have a very close fight, then Lara turns up and knocks Warrington out.

I think Hearn does an excellent job in hyping these fighters, blowing them up, but when they actually face some quality they seem to fall short, and some fall short by a long way.

Very few fighters are Elite level. Many boxers lose at world level. There's too much "this guy was never that good" rhetoric on here whenever a fighter loses. You can lose and still be very good. Not saying Kid falls into that category necessarily but still...
