But what about Abdu's punch? Do you guys think it was legit? It didn't look like anything - and the screen action blacked out when it happened, though they replayed it in slow-mo later. As I said I really like the guy and have been impressed with him since I first saw him, but now he's a hot item, and boxing is so crooked.

By the way, did you know that he fought David Price in the amateurs? The fight is on Youtube. Price easily won on points.

 

Mago didn't start boxing until he was around 23/24 so he had only been boxing a couple years and he used to be 260lbs until he started training with Martinez's team about 2 years go. I wouldn't base my opinion off that.

 

I completely agree with you. I wouldn't base anything on that. Price easily won on amateur point scoring but didn't hurt Abdu at all.

Do you have any thoughts on the question I asked? It looked like such a glancing punch, but appearances can be deceiving. McCline didn't look like he was acting or trying to lose, tho I thought he might have tried to follow up his knockdown in rd. one more vigorously.

Is it possible to fight with a brokn rib? isn't that injury very painful?

 

And funny about that avatar of yours, Vysotsky - I just had a very similar hair-do to that one - except mine was better - but messed with it once too often and consequently trashed it and then said **** it and shaved it all off. It was a hit while it lasted. Who is that in your avatar?
