    Based on the footage we have of Abe (against Kilbane)... no, he would not be able to compete, imo.

    Yeah, the footage of Attell and Kilbane is dire. Nelson gives both of them bad beatings.

    I don't get why people so much of the footage of Attel Vs Kilbane, just looks like Kilbane easilly beating a shot to bits fighter.

    To me it looks like two men, from before boxing took a giant leap forward (20s and 30s). Absurd to think, either of these two would be competitive against Nelson - or any other top featherweight of recent times.

    I think Moran looks excellent on film, and by all accounts Attell was the more skilled when they fought.

    I think it's pretty clear the footage of Attell against Kilbane was when he was a shell of himself.
